Tonight they had live comedy. Small cover, but worth it to support talented comics, and bands and keep them coming back. As always the menu is small, but spotless. There's no wrong answers on that field! Really homey atmosphere, and great place to grab the games.
A friend told us that they had the best pizza in Rhinelander, so we and order a meat lovers. My husband loved it. The staff and owner were friendly.
Great bar! Such a homey feel to the place. The staff is very nice. We visited on a Wednesday night. The nightly special was 15 for a pizza and pitcher of beer - which is an unbelievable deal! The pizza was fantastic! The owner brought out our food and chatted with us for a moment. He was very kind. The prices over are are beyond far and the quality of everything is A. Highly recommend!
We stopped in on a Sunday afternoon, before the Packer game, to have a drink and a burger. We wouldn't call the a dive bar but definitely an "old school" place. We found out that the kitchen had closed shortly before we arrived, BUT there would be food for the football game. Since it was quite a while before game time, we would have a drink and go somewhere else for food. As we sat at the bar, we were encouraged to enjoy some of the complimentary food. It was almost like they would be offended if we didn't. After we participated in the food offerings, we enjoyed the beginning of the game. Aaron (Big Daddy) and Jamie know what treating customers is all about. We had never been here before, but the way they AND the other customers in the place treated us, we felt like regulars. If you're ever in the area, we highly recommend you stop in for a drink, some food, and some great conversation.
Celebrated my son's 50th birthday there. Wonderful experience, delicious burgers,and friendly atmosphere.
I had the steakhouse and it was amazing. It was a 1/2lb burger with bacon, onions, mushrooms, mozzarella cheese, blue cheese steak topping, and his secret sauce. The first bite was full of so much flavor and the pretzel bun was also toasted. It was a delicious meal! Alos the fries were thin cut and they too were delicious. If you are passing through this town do yourself a favor and stop by. The bartender was delightful and friendly. You could tell the cook takes pride in his kitchen. Great stop.
The burgers are absolutely excellent. Loved the atmosphere and great service. Stopping here for supper made a difficult day much better. Just cannot say enough about that GREAT burger (with all the trimmings, of course).
